BECOMING A REPRESENTATIVE
And that's where Business Network Communications
(BNC) comes in. BNC makes a monthly purchase of
millions of dollars of long-distance usage from AT&T at
a big discount just like the giant corporations do.
But BNC then resells this service at a wholesale rate,
passing the savings on to its customers and paying its
representatives a commission for signing those
customers up.
There's nothing new about this concept. It's the
same principle of "combined buying power" used by
cooperatives, and by chain stores like Wal-Mart. Their
high-volume discount purchases lead to big customer
savings.
BNC decided that commission sales representatives
were a more effective way of selling than spending
millions on media advertising, and that's where the
opportunity part comes in. You offer customers up to
one-third off their monthly long distance bills, and
you reward them for signing up with four free hours of
long-distance service, compliments of BNC. BNC billing
is in six-second units, instead of one-minute units.
This is also a major source of savings in addition to
the discount. With other long distance companies, a
call just over one minute is automatically billed as
two minutes, even thought the call was only one minute
and five seconds.
For your efforts, BNC pays you a generous 5%
commission on all of your customers' long-distance
phone bills. Figure that a typical small-business
long-distance bill runs an average of $300 a month (and
bills of businesses that have 800-numbers can go sky-
high). What's more, many people can easily run up $100
or more in their residential bill.
Besides the four free hours offer, they have two
other programs that can make selling the service easy.
One is a fund-raising program for organizations. The
organization gets a lifetime commission on all the
calls placed by its members, and you get a commission
for signing up the organization, and a lifetime
commission on all of the calls placed by the members.
All the organization has to do is hand out brochures to
the members.
A similar program exists for business accounts,
which lets the business give a certificate for four
free hours to its customers, and the business gets a
lifetime commission on the calls of its customers. And
of course you get the commission for signing up the
business, and an ongoing commission on the calls of
their customers as well.
Besides the direct sales option, if you qualify,
you can become a supervising independent representative
for BNC, which lets you earn a small overriding
commission on the sales made by direct representatives
you recruit. But that's as far as it goes -- this is
not a multi-level program. And supervising independent
representatives must be qualified, although anybody can
be a direct independent representative.
To get started, you must order "Unleash The
Entrepreneur Within", the company's agent manual, for
$29.95 plus $4.50 shipping and handling. There is no
additional cost to become a representative. You simply
send in the contract form that comes with the manual,
and can start earning commissions. The payment for the
manual is refundable if you start selling. But if you
decide this isn't the opportunity for you, just return
the manual and you will not only receive a full refund
but also a certificate for 4 free hours of long
distance calls just for having considered it. To order
with your MasterCard or Visa call 1-800-945-1333,
operator 3642. By mail send $34.45 to BNC Fulfillment
Processing Center, 2770 Ridgway, Suite 3642, Walled
Lake MI 48390. Audio & video tapes about the BNC
opportunity are included with the manual.
